Erick the Architect Celebrates His Roots in New Video for ‘No Doubt (I’m In Love)’

Erick the Architect is taking fans back to his roots with the release of the stunning new video for “No Doubt (I’m In Love)”, a heartfelt visual tribute to Jamaica that explores identity, culture and connection beyond the postcard image often associated with the island.

Shot in Kingston, Jamaica, the video serves as a love letter to Erick’s motherland, highlighting the creativity, resilience and everyday beauty of Jamaican life. Rather than using the country as a simple backdrop, the Flatbush Zombies co-founder and acclaimed producer immerses himself in the community, offering an authentic perspective shaped by conversation, observation and personal discovery.

Alongside the video, Erick has published a reflective essay and series of photographs documenting the experience. In the accompanying piece, he speaks candidly about building relationships, listening before documenting and how the journey fundamentally changed his relationship with Jamaica. The trip not only deepened his understanding of the country but also strengthened his connection to his own heritage.

The release adds another milestone to what has already been a remarkable year for the Brooklyn artist. Erick recently collaborated with Apple for its keynote event in Cupertino, appeared as a panellist and performer at GRAMMY House NYC’s Black Music Collective event, joined Busta Rhymes at a writing camp performance and shared the stage with Nas during a World Cup performance.

With “No Doubt (I’m In Love)”, Erick once again demonstrates why he remains one of the most compelling and thoughtful creatives in modern music. More than just a music video, the project is a personal exploration of heritage, belonging and the stories that shape us.
