SUMMER FESTIVALS: 1st Stop
STRAWBERRIES & CREEM
To kick-off the European summer festivals, we attended STRAWBERRIES AND CREEM a 2 day weekend in Cambridge, UK. A festival founded by a group of friends which has become one of the biggest festivals in Cambridgeshire we had to check it out.
Having one of the most anticipated Line ups in this years festival calendar. With Lil Wayne and TEM’s headlining. Fan’s were extremely disappointed to have the UK government deny Lil Wayne’s entry and for TEM’s to fall sick, however not all was lost as LUDACRIS stepped into replace and DID NOT disappoint. As the headline act, he took us back into our childhood living rooms singing and cussing words our mums would not approve of. The audience was elated and jumping in the rain while Ludacris performed back to back bangers and had everyone “Acting a fool”. British favourites such as NSG, MABEL MS BANKS, TION WAYNE, KNUCKS also held the festival down throughout the weekend with some memorable performances that made the crowd go WILD!

ACCOMMODATION
RATING: 5/5
Tents - on official Camp site - link
There is an option to camp on site which is offered within a separate ticket bundle. We stayed at the CLAYTON HOTEL. Affordable, spacious and luxurious rooms with a generously sized balcony to compliment. The staff were super polite and friendly, whilst willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs. Breakfast was included and was ‘D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S’! Recommended to anyone staying in the area.
STAGES AND SETS
RATING: 5/5
The Havana Club stage Was the best stage in our Opinion. The whole team caught nothing but good vibes at this stage with Girls Can’t Dj’ hosting. Special guests included Katy B and Lisa Mafia and Notting Hill Carnival Dancers.
HIGHLIGHTS

FOOD
RATING: 3/5
There were plenty of options of food that were both vegan friendly and appropriate for the meat lovers. Each food stall made the conscious effort to provide a vegetarian dish at the minimum.
OVERALL RATING: 8/10
