Casamigos Tequila Blanco Takes Centre Stage This World Tequila Day

In celebration of World Tequila Day on July 24th, Casamigos tequila is proud to shine a spotlight on its award-winning Blanco expression. A crisp, smooth tequila made for sipping, mixing, and summer toasting.

Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave, Casamigos Blanco is known for its smooth finish and bright, fruit-forward notes of citrus, sweet agave, and a signature hint of vanilla and grapefruit. Crystal clear in appearance, it’s unaged to preserve its natural vibrancy. The agave piñas are slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens, followed by extra-slow fermentation, a process that delivers the clean, refined character Casamigos is celebrated for. It’s the ideal base for fresh seasonal cocktails, including bespoke serves created in partnership with leading venues such as East London’s Hacha.

Casamigos tequila has teamed up with East London’s acclaimed agaverie Hacha to present the Chilly Chilli Margarita, a sleek and bold, ice-cold twist on the classic favourite.

I really love the idea of having a martini ice cold and straight from the freezer and I thought, no one’s done that with a margarita. It’s the perfect cocktail served cold in the summer using Casamigos Blanco and this is so different.
— Deano Moncrieffe, Agave Spirits Expert for Hacha explains

The Chilly Chilly Margarita has been crafted with butter-washed Casamigos Blanco, Hacha’s house sour mix, cane syrup, chilli tincture, salt and delicately finished with drops of citrus CBD oil. Inspired by frozen martinis and spicy margs, the cocktail is made in advance then stored at -10°c in a flask to serve ultra-chilled. Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in everything from classic cocktails to the Chilly Chilli Margarita, Casamigos is the perfect pour for World Tequila Day, best served this summer with friends.
