CASAMIGOS TEQUILA LAUNCHES THE QUARTERITA: THE MINI PINT SHAPED MARGARITA. THIS SUMMER’S HOTTEST SERVE, DESIGNED FOR MODERN MATCHDAYS

CO-DESIGNED BY TASTEMAKER, LAURA JACKSON, THE QUARTERITA WILL BE AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE VIA GLASSETTE AND SERVED ACROSS VENUES  NATIONWIDE.

Casamigos is reimagining matchday drinks culture for a new generation of football fans. Introducing the Quarterita: a new quarter-pint margarita designed for a more social, inclusive and spontaneous way of watching the game. As football culture evolves, the occasion is becoming as important as the result itself.

Today's fans are just as likely to show up for friendship, atmosphere and community as they are for ninety minutes on the pitch.

.This summer, we wanted to create a serve that felt native to how people are really socialising now - more spontaneous, more communal, and rooted in the energy of the pub. Casamigos has always been about bringing friends together, and the Quarterita was designed with exactly that spirit in mind. By taking one of the world’s most iconic cocktails and reimagining it through a distinctly British cultural lens, we’ve created something playful, disruptive and designed for the moments that happen around the match, not just on the pitch.
— Senior Culture and Entertainment Lead at Casamigos, Kandace Williamson says

The Quarterita, a miniature pint, draws inspiration from this summer’s international football fixtures which will see players take quarter-time breaks, beyond the traditional halftime. Mirroring the rhythm of a brand new football culture, more inclusive, socially rooted, and centred around the moments between the action. Design references include football iconography and the spirit of Cabo San Lucas - Casamigo’s heartland, reimagined through British pub culture.

Hosting and bringing people together has always been at the heart of what I love to do, and the Quarterita felt like a really natural extension of that. It takes something familiar, the ritual of going for a pint whilst we watch the football — and gives it a fresh energy for how people are socialising now. Margaritas have become such a huge part of modern drinking culture, and this felt like the perfect way to celebrate that in a visually arresting way.
— On her co-design, Laura Jackson

The Quarterita arrives at a moment when tequila is becoming an increasingly popular part of Britain's social drinking culture. Today, 86% of tequila category value is generated in the on-trade, compared to 58% across spirits overall, while tequila penetration has doubled over the past five years. Meanwhile, margaritas have become the UK's most searched-for cocktail online, making the Quarterita a natural fit for a new generation of matchday rituals(Kantar, 2025).

The illustrated quarter pint glass has been created in collaboration with tastemaker Laura Jackson, author of the wildly popular Substack The Margarita Chronicles, the Quarterita will be sold directly on her homeware and curation platform, Glassette, for friends to make Quarteritas at home.

Matchday drinks are evolving; while pints remain a firm favourite, cocktails are increasingly becoming the perfect accompaniment to watching live sport - particularly during the summer months. Serves like margaritas are an alternative to the traditional match day drink. With a summer of Football approaching, we’re delighted to be serving Quarterita’s at The Audley Public House - there is nothing better than a margarita in the sun while watching the game unfold.
— Liam Loughran, General Manager The Audley Public House

The Quarterita will roll out across selected Casamigos partner venues nationwide from June 10th. From watch parties, rooftop gatherings to your local pub, Casamigos Tequila is championing a new ritual that’s more about the friends you enjoy the match with, than the final score.

The Knave of Clubs. “We love cocktails all year round at The Knave - from classic martini cocktails to Irish Coffees and our house negronis - but this summer, match days quite clearly call for margaritas. We’re thrilled to be the only pub in East London pouring frozen Quarteritas - a crowd-pleaser, perfect for enjoying with the football.
— Benji Lebotiz, Co-Owner

The Quarterita is exclusively available for purchase on Glassette here, priced at £24 including two glasses, and two Casamigo Blanco 50ml minis, and in partner pubs.
