THE DROP:Planet Giza - The Fall (feat. Kiefer & Braxton Cook)
As summer fades, Montreal’s rap-jazz trio Planet Giza resurface with The Fall, the first drop from their upcoming EP The Sky Is Recording Me: 100 Years Later, Vol. 3 (out end of October via Quiet Note).
A meditation on resilience, The Fall leans into ancestral voices rather than shutting out doubt, carried by Tony Stone’s poetic reflection and lifted by the rich production of Rami B and DoomX. Saxophone lines rise with his verses, embodying struggle, release, and growth.
The trio describe it as “a song about resilience … motivation to keep going and a reminder not to repeat the mistakes of the past.” Setting the tone for the final chapter of their EP trilogy, it closes a journey defined by introspection, legacy, and evolution.
