RAP COUNCIL PRESENTS: SHUTDOWN
London’s underground rap circuit continues to thrive and at the centre of that movement sits Rap Council.
Returning with their biggest showcase of the year, Rap Council Presents: SHUTDOWN lands at 229 London on Friday 20th March 2026, bringing together some of the most exciting voices shaping the next chapter of UK rap right now.
With doors opening from 6PM, the night will kick off with DJ sets from StyllUnknown + friends, before moving into a cypher spotlighting fifteen of London’s rising rappers including Twenty8, Amzzino, Luis Rico, Oskar Remz, Lobo and Grimm Dreamurr.

Across the last ten months alone, Rap Council have hosted four major showcases across London, platforming over forty emerging artists to crowds exceeding one thousand attendees. Through a combination of live programming, editorial support and artist development, the grassroots collective are steadily building one of the capital’s most vital ecosystems for underground rap talent.
