SBTV Celebrates 20 Years with Landmark O2 London Show Honouring Jamal Edwards' Legacy

Twenty years after a teenage Jamal Edwards picked up a camcorder and began filming local artists from his West London neighbourhood, SBTV is set to celebrate its incredible journey with its biggest event to date.

SBTV 20 will take over The O2 in London on 11 November 2026, bringing together some of the most influential names in British music for a one night celebration of the platform that helped shape UK culture.

Created in 2006 by Jamal Edwards MBE, SBTV became one of the most important launchpads for emerging talent, helping introduce artists including Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Dave and Jessie J to wider audiences. Two decades later, the platform's impact continues to be felt across music, media and youth culture.

The first wave of artists has now been announced, featuring a mix of grime pioneers, long-time SBTV favourites and influential voices from across the UK scene. The lineup currently includes:

Big Narstie, Chip, Dappy, DJ Target, Griminal, Kasst 8, Kenny Allstar, Kyla, Lady Leshurr, Nolay, Professor Green, Roll Deep, Scorcher, Tinchy Stryder, Wiley, WSTRN and Yungen.

“I am so excited to announce SBTV 20, a special celebration of 20 years of SBTV and also the amazing and inspiring legacy of my brother, Jamal Edwards. This celebration is for everyone who was part of, and supported that journey plus everyone who continues to carry his vision forward. His legacy lives on in every artist, story and opportunity that SBTV helped create. Self Belief always.”
— Tanisha Artman of SBTV

More names are expected to be revealed in the coming months, with organisers promising special moments and surprise appearances throughout the evening.

The event, presented by SBTV and Ernest Promotions in association with the Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust, will celebrate Jamal's vision while raising money and awareness for the charity established in his honour.

“It has been a pleasure working with Tanisha and the SBTV team to help continue this legacy, and to work with such an iconic brand. Our collective aim here is to create a show filled with moments worthy of Jamal and the foundation he built for the scene and those within it. We are all fans here, and will all be eager spectators come November 11th.”
