WETRANSFER’S ARTS PLATFORM LAUNCHES THE WEPRESENT SPRING SHOW IN PECKHAM

London, 8 May 2026 - A three-day arts takeover is coming to Peckham this spring, as WePresent, the Academy Award-winning platform by WeTransfer, launches its Spring Show at Copeland Gallery from 8 to 10 May 2026. Open to all, the event brings together a year of WePresent commissions and global artist collaborations, alongside a public programme of exhibitions, film screenings, talks, DJs and a pop-up shop.

Chad Mclean - “Posted’’ 2025

At the heart of the WePresent Spring Show is “On Belonging”, a specially curated exhibition exploring themes of identity and community. The show brings together artists from WePresent Selects, the platform’s ongoing monthly series spotlighting emerging creative talent from around the world. The series highlights some of the most exciting new voices in the industry, with a focus not just on individual artists but the communities and contexts shaping their work. To date,WePresent Selects has featured more than 1,000 artists across over 120 countries globally.

Exhibiting artists will include Abdulaziz Al-Hosni (Oman), Darcy Whent (UK), Keerthana Kunnath (India), Hajar Benjida (Netherlands/Morocco), Hailun Ma (China), Melville (UK), Ana Flores (Peru), Yamuna Forzani (UK), Hashim Nasr (Sudan), Silvia Draz (Lithuania), Hussein Shikha (Iraq), Hidhir Badaruddin (Singapore), Chad McLean (UK), Julien Rahmani (German/France), Alice Poyzer (UK), and Aran Quinn (Ireland).

Melville - “Best of British Part 1” 2024

A purpose-built cinema space will screen WePresent’s award-winning short film commissions throughout the weekend, with work from directors including Aneil Karia, Akinola Davies Jr., Nadia Hallgren, Jamie-James Medina and Amrou Al-Kadhi.

A dedicated library room will showcase WePresent’s publishing projects, including NOUR, a poetry book created with Mustafa, and Holy Ohio, a sold-out photography title by Nadia Lee Cohen. The space will also feature artist-written manifestos on creative living, alongside a bookshelf curated by participating artists and the WePresent team, highlighting the publications that have shaped their work. Visitors are invited to browse, read and take a manifesto away.

Hashim Nasr - “Sudan - The Curse Of Gold” 2023

Across the three days, the free programme includes panel talks with artists and directors, as well as portfolio reviews for students and emerging creatives, with exhibiting artists on hand as mentors to offer feedback and guidance. Daily DJ sets will be hosted by South London music platform Balamii.

Food and drink will run throughout the weekend, with complimentary brunch served by Salsa Rose on Saturday and Sunday, ice cream sandwiches from Happy Endings available daily, and free cocktails poured by Peckham’s Social between 5pm and 7pm each evening. A pop-up shop will also offer exclusive artist collaborations across clothing, stationery and homeware, with all proceeds going to charity.

A new issue of WePresent’s magazine will also be available to pick whilst stocks last.
